Safety Disclaimer
Training with someone new comes with responsibility. Please read this before you connect with other members.
Training is at your own risk
Exercise carries risk of injury. You are responsible for your own training, your own limits and the equipment you use. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a training programme.
Spotting
A spotter is not a substitute for safe loading and good technique. Only lift weights you can control, agree on how you want to be spotted before the set, and use the gym's safety equipment.
Meeting other members
- Meet on the gym floor, in public, during staffed hours
- Share only the information you are comfortable sharing
- Tell someone you trust who you are training with
- Stop and report anything that makes you uncomfortable
Our role
SpotMe helps members find each other. We are not a personal training service, we do not supervise sessions, and we do not employ, endorse or vet the training ability of members.
